All Relatives of a Person
When you pick from the report menu Other, All Relatives of a Person, you will be able to pick the starting person and it can find all relatives of that person, including all relatives of the spouse of that person, and relatives of those relatives and so on. If you have a complex database with multiple family lines, it should be able to find complex relationships.
Start out with about 5 or 6 generations and do a Preview. You can then increase the number of generations if necessary.
There are options on Fields to Include that affect how the report will look.
When you get it close to what you want, you can pick from the top menu File, Edit BKRelate.txt and you can make changes to the report and then print it again with either File, Print BKRelate.txt or Preview BKRelate.txt
The report may take a few minutes to calculate, so if you want to reprint the same report with the same people and perhaps change the margins or the Printer font, you can reprint with File, Print BKRelate.txt to reprint the report that was already calculated.
If you click the Print or Preview button on the right, it will calculate a new report and write over the current BKRelate.txt file.
Note: If you just want to compute the relationship between two people, pick Other, Compute Relationship
